Let me introduce myself, my name is Jacqui and this is my group northwest spirit. I have always been interested in the paranormal, wanting to know if there is such a thing as life after death, are ghosts real or is it all in your head. With northwest spirits I hope to find at least some of the answers to these questions and many other questions too. I have done many things in my life and I have had many things happen to me that have caused me to ask myself “Did that really just happen” many strange things that just cannot be explained away.

I joined a paranormal investigation group called M.A.R.A. in April 2004 and enjoyed my time there. I enjoyed everything to do with M.A.R.A. from the people involved, the vigils, research, right through to the social side of the group, they are a really great group of people and I would recommend them to anyone. A little over a year later in May 2005 I left M.A.R.A. due to things that were going on in my personal life. I learnt a lot as a member of M.A.R.A. and I thank them for allowing me to be an active member of their group. I only hope northwest spirits will be as successful and have as good a social side to it as M.A.R.A.

When I was a member of M.A.R.A. we were holding an informal meeting at my house, I had bought some cameras and some of the group had come to my house to have a look at the cameras and to show me how to set them up. We decided to set the cameras up in my Mothers bedroom (the room she died in) at this point in time I was using my Mothers bedroom as a store room to store furniture from my old house, you couldn't move in that room it was choker block with furniture. Mark, Rob and I went up stairs to set the cameras and Mike, Danny and my daughter stayed in the living room connecting the receiver to the TV. and video. When the cameras were set, Mike shouted up to us that everything was connected up, Mark, Rob and I made our way down stairs. The idea was they would show me how to set the cameras up and then show me how to put the rest of it together. Anyway we went down stairs, as we entered the living room we all had a clear view of the TV, something big and black went across the TV screen, this ment something had passed in front of the camera in my Mothers bedroom. There was no time to grab the video remote and press record. All six of us were shocked, we ran back up stairs but could find nothing in the room other than what should have been there. A lot of things happen in this house, I do think that if there are such things as ghosts, then I've definitely got one or more here.
